Our glamping experience

Our two glamping sites are perched on top of a hill with views second to none. The bird life is huge in the valley and you will see birds such as Wood Pigeons, Tui's and Bell birds. The hill is farmed by a local farmer and at times there will be sheep on the property. (the Glamp site is fenced off so you won't have sheep knocking at your door)

Our Kakapo tents include, a king bed, arm chairs, wooden floors and everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You can enjoy the simple pleasures of camping, with the perks of hot running water and great amenities.

We provide all the comforts you might expect in a hotel plus more!

What to bring

FOOD + DRINK

You will need to bring your own food for cooking.

ELECTRICITY

Half of the beauty of the place is to get away so there is no electricity on site although you are able to charge your phone with a power bank in each room. Lighting is also solar powered.

CLOTHING

Warm clothes - it can be chilly in the mornings and at night. A warm jersey and long pants are a wise option.

FOOTWEAR

If you enjoy walks there are some great walks around the Peninsula, you might also like to take a walk around the property so as it is a farm your shoes might get muddy!!
